Welcome to the Buckeye Event Network

“BEN” (Buckeye Event Network) was designed to help student organizations plan and reserve outdoor space on campus. You will need to use your university user name (name.#) and password to log in. Click on the "Login" button on the top bar of this page to begin the request process.

Once the form is submitted, your request will be sent to the BEN Coordinator to review. If all the necessary information is completed and the outdoor space is available, a TENTATIVE reservation will be booked for your organization. The information from your online request form is then sent to several University Departments (T & P, OSUPD, FOD and Public Safety) for approval, so that you don’t have to contact them all directly. If additional information is needed to approve your event, you will be contacted by someone from that department needing more information. Once approval is granted, the status of your reservation will be upgraded from tentative to confirmed. Please keep in mind that the more information you enter regarding your event, the easier and faster it will be to obtain approval from each of the departments. Please note this process takes at least 2 weeks for confirmation to be granted.

Equipment rental (tables, chairs, etc) are NOT INCLUDED in BEN approval. If approved, you must provide your own equipment or rent from an external company.

Rain/Indoor locations are not included in the BEN process. Please be sure to request indoor space in case of inclement weather through the Ohio Union Space Request or Classroom Space.
